CBI Bank Benchmarking Report
The CBI Bank Benchmarking Report and the companion Bank Fee Calculator contain the detailed information needed to negotiate a fair and equitable banking deal.
The CBI Bank Benchmarking Report is, at heart, a data table report. It’s the meat that supports the analysis and commentary in CBI’s National Banking Survey Report. It provides detailed statistical information, in tabular format, about price ranges for bank borrowing costs, interest compensation and fees. Where statistical inference permits, the Benchmarking Report summarizes this information in pivot table format reporting results by bank, region, industry type, as well as company size and credit profile. This report does not include commentary and analysis.
The Bank Fee Calculator is the companion analysis tool to the CBI Bank Benchmarking Report. It’s an input/output model that lets a company compare its banking cost and service fee profile to those of peers. The calculator is based on a regression analysis of survey data. Model output is presented on a “best case” and “quartile” basis.
